Add water to the buckets for stability. A couple inches of water in each bucket keeps them from tipping on uneven ground during competitive play. Dump and dry before you pack up for return.
Set your house rules before the first round. Bounce shots, island rules, re-racks — agree before you start. Nothing kills the energy faster than a mid-game rules argument.
Space the buckets out more for a harder game. Standard pong distance is about 6 feet. Stretch it to 8 or 10 feet for adults who want a real challenge and want rounds to last longer.
