Let the machine warm up fully before adding sugar. Give it at least five minutes after turning on before you start spinning.
Spin slowly and steadily for the best results. Hold the cone near the spinning head and rotate it in slow even circles letting the sugar threads wrap around the cone naturally.
Set up the machine on a stable flat table away from wind if possible. Wind is the enemy of cotton candy. Even a light breeze can blow the sugar threads away before they land on the cone.
Store unused sugar in a sealed container between uses. The flavored sugar absorbs moisture from the air and clumps if left open.
Clean the machine before returning per the included instruction sheet. The cleaning process takes just a few minutes. Equipment returned without proper cleaning will incur a cleaning fee.
